譯者簡介 顧法嚴先生 （一九一七～一九九五）本名世淦，浙江紹興人，中央大學畢業，曾任農復會總務處長，精通英文、梵文、巴利文，為佛教界著名翻譯家。譯有《佛陀的啟示》、《原始佛典選譯》、《禪門三柱》、《射藝中的禪》、《密宗傳統觀音觀想修法》，均交由慧炬出版社發行。在台期間，曾擔任美國佛教會駐臺譯經院副院長，主持英譯《大寶積經》工作。一九七三年定居美國舊金山，一九八八年依妙境長老出家。
